Aparna seemed to be blushing all through narrating her story, “Yes! I sang two lines for him because he asked me to.” Very inquisitively I ask if she asked him about anything. She simply says, “Not really. I am an engineer, and my relatives told me to marry someone from the same profession, but I didn’t have any such conditions. I just wanted someone who is best at whatever he does and there he was, Kaushik.”

It is absolutely evident that the couple are in awe of each other. But it doesn’t end there. They can’t get enough of appreciating each other. Aparna tells me why she was enchanted by Kaushik. “He was always confident in whatever he did, whether it is talking to me or my parents. But what attracted me the most is he told me everything frankly, about his job and himself.”

After their call, Kaushik wanted to do his homework to get to know about Aparna and what is a better way than social media. “I checked for her profile on Facebook and other social media but I noticed that she isn’t active at all on social media whereas I am the exact opposite. I am on social media all the time,” says Kaushik and adds on, “I was actually dumbfounded that a girl like her wasn’t a social media person. When I asked her about it, she said that she believed in living the moment rather than clicking pictures of everything. She had a total different perspective of looking at the world. This changed my perspective too.” Aparna agrees to that but adds, “I do ask him to click my photos all the time even though I don’t post it.” Can they get any more adorable?

Kaushik, who works in the event industry tells me how the couple spend their ‘we’ time. “Since I don’t have a fixed schedule, it is a little hard to do that but I make sure that I manage my time accordingly so that we can spend time together. Also when I have to travel, I book her tickets too so we get our ‘we’ time. Aparna adds on, “I come from a small town, and I haven’t really travelled a lot but with Kaushik I have travelled to all big cities. Whenever he gets time, he spends it all on me.”
